HOw WE DO WHAT WE LOVE

THE EXPECTATIONS OF A DESIGN PROJECT

PHASE I

Initial Consultation

WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN HIRING AN INTERIOR DESIGNER.

Our initial consultation is where we share what to expect with our project process, we get to know you and you understand the scope of work of your goals and objectives. This is a booked appointment that lasts about two hours. During this phase, we determine the functional requirements, project budget and discuss possible options to create the atmosphere you want to achieve.

PRE-CONSTRUCTION

DESIGN DEVELOPMENT

HOW LONG DOES A KITCHEN /HOME DESIGN PROJECT MAY TAKE.

This is the time when we get to establish the details of your plan for each space. Ideas of architectural elements, samples, inspirational photos, and sketches are developed to forecast our ideas and to create cohesion within your project. This is the most important part before moving forward. Color schemes are created and finishes, lighting, hardware, cabinetry, furniture as well and accessories are reviewed based on the client's budget.

Each project length time is different depending on the scope of the project. During our initial consultation, you will receive information on reality vs. expectations to a project. We help break down any false industry advertisements, up front to assure you of a better timeline for completion.

PHASE II

DOCUMENTATION

TOP RATED DESIGNERS DESIGN NOT DECORATE

Once the design is approved, the interior elements, written specifications, architectural component drawings and written material are defined. This puts together working drawings for pricing for our construction estimates. One set of drawings is given to the contractor and another on the job site to be used as a reference, for any questions.

PROJECT CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT

WHAT MATTERS THE MOST WHEN DESIGNING A HOME, RELIABILITY.

Throughout construction, we attend regular job site meetings to review design decisions, material installations and construction schedules. We track progress and resolve issues that may arise during the build and ensure that the finished work is completed properly and to our expectations. We are here as a liaison between you and the contractor. Collaborating with our A-Team contractors for a smooth transition throughout the project.

PHASE III

PROJECT TURNOVER

IT IS THE TYPE OF SERVICE WE OFFER.

Purchasing of goods begins with purchase orders for each vendor that is needed for the projects. We review each order selection for accuracy, confirm prices as well as lead times, and manage the delivery details.

INSTALLATION

THE FINAL END RESULT FOR COMPLETION.

With today’s unpredictable lead times, our installation process has changed based on the availability of items. Once construction is completed, furniture, art, accessories and finishing touches are arranged for installment and completion of the project. This day may even be done over the length of a weekend.
